Ladies, assume your positions!

This is the general position I assume when I enter a dressing room. How about you?

Do you tentatively peek through your fingers or intentionally avoid the “look-around”?

There is something magical about a dressing room. The problem is its dark magic! An evil lighting that cast shadows and illuminates dimples and lumps. Maybe for you the lighting shows hallows and protruding bones. Either way, I have never heard of a friendly dressing room mirror.

For many of us the dressing room became a dreaded thing at an early age. Pain inflicted on us by the words of a parent, sibling, friend or another peer. Our flaws were swiftly pointed out and the belief was set in stone- I am imperfect.

For others the dressing room developed into a hate-relationship. Body changes and adjustments due to life (children, injury, etc.) found us avoiding that dreaded room more and more.

Whatever your history, my message is the same. You are the temple of the LIVING God! To believe that you must know that you know! If you don’t know, please go here and secure your temple occupant before we proceed.

Truth #1 :

I AM THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD! 1 Cor. 3:17b

“For the temple of God is holy, which temple YOU ARE.”

Speak this truth.

Memorize this truth.

Without it you cannot and will not move forward in this beautiful changing process.
