Day 14- Mexico or Bust!

I am blogging today from the airport. We are waiting for our flight to board and we will be on our way to Veracruz, Mexico. Today is a normal day. With the busyness of packing today has been anything but "normal" for me.

This trip we are taking in clothes for our missionary family. People from our home church lovingly gave gently used clothes for us to take. I should have taken a picture of me trying to figure out a cleaver way to pack everything. I ended up using 3 large space bags. This beautiful national family does not have the money to buy new clothing the way we would in the U.S.A. Clothes in Mexico are very expensive and many of the people there sew their own clothes out of necessity. It can be especially expensive for children’s clothing since they have to be replaced so often due to growth.

While I am in Mexico I hope to continue blogging. My plan is to interview the national pastor’s wife and ask her to share with us her view of beauty. Stay tuned, you don’t want to miss that interview! I will also post pictures for you.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment and tell me “who you are”!
